Tess Chatfield
Tess Chatfield is a recent graduate of Columbus College of Art & Design where she has achieved her Bachelor of Fine Arts. Chatfield has recently completed a residency with the company R.A.R.O. A six-week program located in Barcelona, Spain. During the duration of her residency, she worked towards an exhibition that took place at the end of the program. With R.A.R.O, Chatfield attended and led artist talks, becoming more involved with the local art scene. Currently, working in Sacramento, CA, and focusing on abstract ceramic forms and non-representational functioning pieces.
Chatfield's art encompasses nostalgia from leaving a place where one felt connected to the land while growing into adulthood, specifically inspired by the American South West and the time spent during her coming-of-age years.
