New Ceramic Classes with art instructor Chuck Owens
4 Sections of Wheel Throwing Classes
New Fall classes! In the next set of classes we will explore ceramics on the potters wheel!
5 sessions in a small group setting for 2 ½ hours each session and involves working on the potters wheel.
Each class has a maximum of 4 students so they feel like private classes! We supply the tools and clay along with hands on instruction. Firing and glazes are included up to 25 lbs.
No experience necessary! If you are familiar with the wheel, you will increase your expertise in these private classes.
Class cost is $250

* We will skip the lessons the weekend of Thanksgiving.
Chuck Owens is currently an adjunct professor, ceramics, Art Department at Cal State University, Sacramento and also teaches wheel throwing at Alpha Ceramic Arts.

Two Sections Starting November 1st
Time for a new set of Fall classes! In the next set of classes we will explore abstract sculpture focusing on the fundamental elements and principles of design and a few new glazing techniques on our work.
This class is a 5 week class and involves creating work that will give you a greater appreciation of abstract artwork.
The sections offered:
5 three hour classes plus a group critique.
Section 1: November 1st - December 6th
Wednesday day 10am – 1pm
Section 2: November 1st - December 6th (Class is full)
Wednesday evening 6pm – 9pm
* We will skip instruction the week of Thanksgiving.
This cost includes instruction, clay, glazes, use of tools and firing.
To secure enrollment send me an email, and be specific about what section you would like to attend. (for example, section 2, Wed. 6-9pm). I will send you an email to confirm there is a space for that section and then you must make a payment through Paypal- Buy Now to reserve that spot.
